Abstract

Bez obzira na vrstu tjelesne aktivnosti kojom se bavimo, u profesionalnom, ali i rekreativnom sportu, dolazi do mnogih adaptivnih promjena u našem organizmu. Uzimajući u vid biomehaničke strukture gibanja tijela, za vrijeme izvođenja hvatačkih i bacačkih pokreta, dolazi do koštanih, mišićnih, tetivnih i ostalih prilagodba kod ekstremiteta koji dominantno sudjeluju u vršenju pokreta. Cilj ovog rada je pregled i sistematična analiza znanstvenih radova objavljenih u bibliografskoj bazi Medline koji opisuju humeralnu retrotorziju kod sportaša u hvatačko-bacačkim sportovima. U pretrazi su korištene ključne riječi „humeral torsion AND/OR humeral retrotorsion AND/OR humeral retroversion“ i ograničenje Species: Humans. Pretragom je pronađeno 297 članaka. U detaljniju analizu uključena su 23 članka, koji su bili grupirani u četiri skupine i prikazuju rezultate istraživanja humeralne retrotorzije kod sportaša u hvatačko-bacačkim sportovima. Rezultati potvrđuju postojanje jasnih adaptivnih promjena na humerusu, jer su zabilježene u brojnim istraživanjima, dok povezanost humeralne retrotorzije s ozljedama, trajanjem sportskog staža i/ili karakteristikama treninga i dominantnosti ruke treba detaljnije istražiti zbog nedovoljnog broja provedenih studija.

Abstract (english)

Regardless of the type of physical activity we do, in professional and recreational sports, there are many adaptive changes in our body. Taking into account the biomechanical structure of body movements, during the performance of catching and throwing movements, there are bone, muscle, tendon and other adaptations in the extremities, which dominantly participate in the movement. The aim of this research is to review and systematically analyze scientific papers published in the Medline bibliographic database that describe humeral retrotorsion in athletes in catch-and-throw sports. The keywords "humeral torsion AND / OR humeral retrotorsion AND / OR humeral retroversion" and the limit Species: Humans were used in the search. Search yielded 297 articles. A more detailed analysis included 23 articles, which were grouped into four groups and show the results of the studies of humeral retrotorsion in athletes in catch-and- throw sports. The results indicate clear adaptive changes in the humerus, as they have been reported in numerous studies, while association of humeral retrotorsion with injuries, duration of sports career and/or training characteristics, and arm dominance need to be confirmed in further studies.
