Abstract

U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 59 ispitanika hrvatskih bejzbolaša seniora. Cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi broj, vrste ozljeda te uvjete nastajanja kod igrača seniora 1. Hrvatske Baseball lige u 2018. godini te na temelju dobivenih rezultata dati preporuke za prevenciju najčešćih ozljeda bejzbolaša u hrvatskoj. Ukupno je bilo ozlijeđeno 29 ispitanika (47,46%). Najviše je bilo ozljeda tetive 32,14% a zatim mišićnih ozljeda 14,29%. Najčešće se ozljeđivalo rame (32,14%) te lakat (17,86%) a pratila ih je ozljeda gležnja 10,17%. Češće su ozljede bile akutne (60,71%). Od ozlijeđenih 78,57% moralo je izostati s treninga radi ozljede. Najviše ispitanika izostalo je između 9 i 20 dana (28,57%) a 25% ispitanika izostalo je između 4 i 8 dana te 25% ispitanika izostalo je s treninga više od 20 dana. Igrači su se najčešće ozljeđivali na početku sezone 57,14% te sredinom sezone 32,14%. 57,14% ozljeda nastalo je na natjecanju te 57,14% tokom sredine aktivnosti (treninga ili natjecanja). Nema statistički značajne razlike između ozlijeđenih i neozlijeđenih igrača u varijablama tjelesna visina, tjelesna masa, indeks tjelesne mase te dob.

Abstract (english)

The research was conducted on 59 examinees of Croatian senior baseball players. The aim of this study was to determine the number, types of injuries and conditions of occurrence in senior players of the 1st Croatian Baseball League in 2018. Based on the results obtained authors gave recommendations for the prevention of the most common injuries of baseball players in Croatia. A total of 29 players were injured (47.46%). Tendon injuries were most common (32.14%), followed by muscle injuries 14.29%. The most common injured area was shoulder
(32.14%) and the elbow (17.86%), followed by an ankle injury (10.17%). Acute injuries were more common (60.71%). 78.57% of injured players had to skip practice because of the injurie. Most players were absent between 9 and 20 days (28.57%), 25% of respondents were absent
between 4 and 8 days and 25% of respondents were absent from practice for more than 20 days. Players were most often injured at the start of the season 57.14% and in the middle of the season 32.14%. 57.14% of injuries occurred in competition 57.14% of injuries occurred in the middle of practice or competition. There were no statistically significant differences between injured and uninjured players in these variables: height, body weight, body mass index, and age.
