Abstract U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 59 ispitanika hrvatskih bejzbolaša seniora. Cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi broj, vrste ozljeda te uvjete nastajanja kod igrača seniora 1. Hrvatske Baseball lige u 2018. godini te na temelju dobivenih rezultata dati preporuke za prevenciju najčešćih ozljeda bejzbolaša u hrvatskoj. Ukupno je bilo ozlijeđeno 29 ispitanika (47,46%). Najviše ispitanika izostalo je između 9 i 20 dana (28,57%) a 25% ispitanika izostalo je između 4 i 8 dana te 25% ispitanika izostalo je s treninga više od 20 dana. Igrači su se najčešće ozljeđivali na početku sezone 57,14% te sredinom sezone 32,14%. 57,14% ozljeda nastalo je na natjecanju te 57,14% tokom sredine aktivnosti (treninga ili natjecanja). Nema statistički značajne razlike između ozlijeđenih i neozlijeđenih igrača u varijablama tjelesna visina, tjelesna masa, indeks tjelesne mase te dob. Less
Abstract (english) The research was conducted on 59 examinees of Croatian senior baseball players. The aim of this study was to determine the number, types of injuries and conditions of occurrence in senior players of the 1st Croatian Baseball League in 2018. Based on the results obtained authors gave recommendations for the prevention of the most common injuries of baseball players in Croatia. A total of 29 players were injured (47.46%).
