Abstract (english)

Running, and especially participation in ultra trail races, is a social phenomenon whose popularity is growing in modern society. "100 miles of Istria" is the most famous and most prestigious race of its type in Croatia, which has been held since 2013 until today. It is part of the "Ultra Trail World Tour" World Cup and is considered one of the most elite races in Europe. The runners themselves are usually recreational athletes for whom the ultra trail scene represents a specific lifestyle. 5...
