Abstract

Diabetes mellitus je jedna od najraširenijih kroničnih bolesti koja pogađa sve dobne skupine. Ukoliko se ne vodi računa o regulaciji same bolesti, komplikacije koje nastaju mogu biti po život opasne za osobu oboljelu od dijabetesa. Ovisno o vrsti dijabetesa (tip 1 ili tip 2), regulacija u velikoj mjeri ovisi o terapiji, načinu života, tjelesnoj aktivnosti kao i o prehrambenim navikama bolesnika. Tjelesna aktivnost danas je neophodna za svakog čovjeka. Čovjek je stvoren da se kreće, a ne da živi sjedilačkim načinom života. Upravo zbog tog sjedilačkog načina života čovjek je danas suočen sa brojnim bolestima. Osobe oboljele od dijabetesa moraju provoditi redovitu tjelovježbu, bilo da je to obična šetnja, bilo nekakva određena aktivnost kao što su sportske igre, ili određene kineziološke aktivnosti u svrhu prevencije bolesti (kod dijabetesa tipa 2) ili u svrhu regulacije same bolesti (kod dijabetesa tipa 1).

Abstract (english)

Diabetes mellitus is one of the most widespread chronic disease which attack all people around the world. If you doesn`t take care about regulation of this disease, complication which appeared can be deadly for person with diabetes mellitus. Depending of which type of diabetes, we talk about (type 1 or type 2), regulation of this illness depends about therapy, lifestyle, physical activity, and eating habits. Physical activity is very important for people today. Humans are made for moving, not for sedentary type of life. Sedentary way of life is reason for many illnesses that which appear today. People with diabetes must have regular physical activity, whatever it is a walk-in nature, or some specific activity like team sports to prevention illness (in diabetic type 2), or regulation of illness (in diabetic type 1).
