(visoki ego/visok task) i 3.
Abstract (english) The purpose of this studywas to describe and investigate whether any discrimination exists within goal orientation and the perception of the motivational climate in high schools, depending on the gender of the students, and explain if there are any differences in goal orientation depending on future professions. Also, the goal is to determine if there are any differences in perception of the motivational climate between college students with different goal profiles. A sample of 200 collage students was selected from the Faculty of Kinesiology, Zagreb, Croatia. The base for measuring constructs goal orientation in this research was questionnaire goal orientations in sport, CTEOSQ is a Croatian translation of TEOSQ (Baric and Horga, 2007) and it has been used in this paper. The tool for the assessment of motivational climate was Croatian questionnaire about motivational climate in sport (Baric, 2007), adapted for Physical Education. The results show a statistically significant difference in students’ task orientation and perception of the motivational climate, considering on gender. Female students are more focused on the task orientation, and more often perceive Mastery motivational climate. There is no statistically significant differences in the goal orientation to future professions, but the results show that, on average, students in all four groups are focused on the task orientation. The results confirmed a statistically significant difference in the perception of motivational climate due to the different goal profiles. The difference is found in the percepition of Performance motivational climate between profiles 1 (Hi-E/Hi-T) and 3 (Hi-T/Lo-E) – their difference is low level of ego orientation. In addition, a statistically significant difference in the percepition of Mastery motivational climate between profiles 1 (Hi-E/Hi-T) and 2 (Lo-E/Lo-T), differ by high levels of the task orientation, as well as the ego orientation. There is also difference between perception of Mastery motivational climate between the profiles 2 (Lo-E/Lo-T) and 3 (Hi-T/Lo-E) – their difference is high levels of task orientation. There was no statistically significant difference between profile 2 (Lo-E/Lo-T) and 4 (Lo-T/Hi-E) regarding the perception of Performace motivational climate although their diference is a high ego orientation.
