Abstract

Osnovni cilj ovog rada bio je prikazati probleme s kojima se susreću pacijenti s Aicardi-Goutieres sindromom. Aicardi-Goutieres sindrom je rijetka bolest koja se najčešće javlja u prvih nekoliko mjeseci života kao autosomno recesivna encefalopatija karakterizirana cerebralnim kalcifikacijama, abnormalnostima bijele moždane tvari, cerebralnom atrofijom i mikrocefalijom. Uz ostale organske sustave, ova bolest poglavito zahvaća središnji živčani sustav prezentirajući se u prvom redu smanjenjem intelektualnih funkcija te neuromišićnim manifestacijama u vidu hipotonije, spasticiteta i distoničkih pokreta. Cilj ovog rada bio je pregledom literature prikazati mogućnosti kinziterapijskih postupaka koncentrirajući se poglavito na neuromišićna oštećenja.

Abstract (english)

The main objective of this study was presenting of problems that patients with Aicardi-Goutiere syndrome face. Aicardi-Goutieres syndrome is a rare disorder, with early onset encephalopathy characterized by cerebral calcifications, white matter abnormalities cerebral atrophy and microcephaly. In addition to other organ systems, it mainly affects the central nervous system, primarly presenting intellectual disability and neuromuscular problems such as hypotonia, spasticity and distonic movements. The goal of this study, based on the published literature, was to show possibilities of kinesitherapy treatments taking into account neuromuscular damage.
