Sportovi su čest uzrok ozljeda i dosežu 30% ukupnog rizika ozljeda u mnogim zemljama. Smatra se da oko 60% sportskih ozljeda uključuje zglobove donjih ekstremiteta. Jedna od čestih ozljeda donjih ekstremiteta je ozljeda prednje ukrižene sveze (engl. anterior cruciate ligemant – ACL). Sports are a common cause of injury and consist of about 30% of total injury risk in many countries. It is considered that about 60% of these injuries involve the joints of the lower extremities.
