Ozljede Ahilove tetive veoma su česta pojava, kako kod sportaša tako i u svakodnevnom životu opće populacije. U ovom će se radu najprije anatomski i biomehanički opisati struktura i svojstva područja koja okružuju tetivu, ali i nju samu. Abstract (english)

Achilles tendon injuries are very frequent not only in athletes but also in those the general population. Through this thesis, first anatomically and biomechanically structure and properties of the tendon as well as the area surrounding it will be described. Furthermore, it is essential to emphasize the existence of two basic types of injuries, tendinopathy and rupture, which can occur due to damaged Achilles tendon.
